Pastors Blog

I never know what to write in these things, which is why it doesn’t get updated much. But thankfully the Lord always knows what to say. In this time of pandemic, fear has become the driving force for many in the world. When this is the issue, we look for a savior. We know Jesus is that Savior, so we will lift up our eyes to the hills from whence our help comes, our help comes from the Lord. This world, however, is now looking for another kind of savior. A political leader, or just someone who can bring order to this chaos. Cue the Anti-Christ. This leader will bring promises of peace, offer hope, strength, and answers that the world thinks its looking for. But he won’t really provide any of that; just hollow promises. Instead death, plague and famine will come.

It’s all written in the Word. Read it for yourselves. The good news is that Jesus is already our savior, our peace, our provision, our hope, if we will let Him be. John 10:10 tells us, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The world offers us chaos and false hope. Jesus gives us peace. Rest in that!!
